Our Approach

So how do we go about delivering challenging building projects?

We’ll start each project by analysing the brief, the site and the constraints (planning and development). We’ll advise clients of any consultants or reports required and prepare a program via a Gantt chart.

Once we have a clear indication of project viability we’ll begin with some planning and sketching. We’ll re-think, re-plan and re-sketch until we think we are on the right lines.

Our Creative Studio with our design wall provides the ideal platform for our talented team to be creative.

3d Modelling & BIM

The majority of our projects are now modelled in 3d utilising either Sketch-Up or ArchiCad. This quickly gives us and our clients a full and clear picture of the project in true perspective. It is a powerful tool to use when presenting daring schemes to planning officers.

Designing a great looking building is only half the story. You need the technical ability to be able to produce detailed drawings that contractors can accurately price and construct from.

Thankfully, we have been widely praised via building control officers and contractors for our technical work.

We use the best equipment and software.

Our digital processes have been 100% ‘cloud’ based since March 2012. We use a suite of leading internet based software products to ensure that we have robust processes in place as well as enabling efficient communication with clients.

Our design team and clients can therefore access any discussion, note, task or file, from any device, anywhere, with all information protected by banking grade security.

Project Management.

We are also acutely aware that statutory constraints and procurement are major factors in construction.
Fortunately, we have worked across many local authorities and have good relationships with many senior planning officers. Thus we have a high success rate with planning applications.
In addition, our expertise in project management allows us to tender, coordinate and manage specialist consultants and contractors on your behalf.
