A residential project of ours in Dalbury Lees, Ashbourne, will be constructed using a green concrete building technology. The property will integrate insulated concrete forms (ICFs) made from recycled timber, bonded by cement.
These Durisol ICFs are the only reinforced concrete forms that do not use polystyrine or foam. The self build property will be only the second house in the UK that has been constructed using this green technology.
Other than reduced labour and material costs, these sustainable concrete blocks offer excellent insulating and acoustic properties. No energy is used to dry or heat the units during the manufacturing process, making them an eco-friendly alternative to traditional polystyrene based concrete forms.

Is there an update on this build please? How is it going?
