Somme Road, Allestree
The brief was to design a substantial family home in this half-acre plot, with wow factor whilst also retaining a traditional feel. The clients had several very specific wishes including a social aspect to the ground floor; an open plan space with split levels: and a large impressive hallway with feature staircase.
We were able to secure planning permission for this project despite the plot being adjacent to the historic Kedleston Hall estate.
