Location: Belper, Derbyshire.

We were commissioned to explore residential opportunities for a parcel of land on the edge of Belper, Derbyshire. The land in question is part woodland and outside the development boundary therefore classed as open countryside.

Our initial proposal comprised of 13 residential units. We looked at introducing a uniform streetscene, with new dwellings incorporating environmentally friendly design features.

House Types.

The house types are contemporary, with cedar and stone cladding and south facing solar roof scapes.

Community.

We included a shared allotment to enhance the community and sustainability aspect.

 

Outline planning permission for residential development was granted in May 2015.
